Dean McCullough is a Northern Irish television and radio presenter.
Dean hosts his own daytime show on BBC Radio 1 weekdays from 1-3.30pm and has become one of the most exciting broadcasters in the country.
With 12 years experience under his belt Dean was awarded ‘Top LGBTQ+ Broadcaster’ by Attitude Magazine.
In television, Dean has appeared on ITV comedy reality show ‘Retreat Yourself’ and has appeared as a panelist on ‘Love Island: Aftersun’. He has also presented for ‘Morning Live’ on BBC One making a personal film about his journey with sobriety. Dean has also presented his own ‘Pride Hits’ music show for 4Music as well as a series of music shows called ‘That’s Iconic!’ airing across 4Music channels.
Most recently, Dean appeared on Strictly’s It Takes Two as well as CBBC’s Saturday Mashup.
In music, Dean has presented ‘Sam Smith at The BBC’ for BBC Sounds. He has also hosted a ‘Westlife at Wembley’ special which was broadcast in 650 cinemas nationwide. Dean is an engaging interviewer and storyteller. He has interviewed some of the biggest artists on the planet including; Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue & Little Mix.
Commercially, Dean has worked with brands like Virgin, Moss Bros and Sony.
