Adam Thomas is a British actor and TV presenter.
Adam Thomas is a Manchester-born British actor and presenter best known for his roles on Emmerdale and Waterloo Road. Adam is currently playing the role of Donte Charles in Waterloo Road, airing on BBC One and iPlayer. He previously held the role as Adam Barton in the ITV soap opera, Emmerdale.
Adam has fast become a regular across our TV screens. Along with starring in Waterloo Road, he was part of the BBC’s 2023 Strictly Come Dancing cohort of contestants. Adam and his brother Ryan released their brand-new primetime show, 99 To Beat with ITV in March 2025.
Adam is the co-host of the popular podcast series At Home With the Thomas Bros, along with his brothers Ryan and Scott.
In 2020, Adam starred in a six-part ITV prime-time series Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai with his two brothers, Ryan and Scott and their late Father Dougie, where they visited India to trace their heritage.
In 2016, Adam was a contestant on the 16th series of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, where he finished in 3rd place. In October 2019, Adam co-hosted the spin-off – I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp.
Adam is a restaurateur, and entrepreneur with the flagship of his brand, Oh My Glaze, being found in the Trafford Centre.
Commercially Adam works with Apple Games, Volkswagen, Sky, MOJU, Bupa, Moss Bros, Haribo, Hot Wheels, Smyths Toys and PG Tips to name a few.
